Dapp is a singer-songwriter from Cherry hill, NJ who has been spreading his retro-fied funk-soul smoothness to audiences since early in 2008. He has also been a contributing member of the bands The Blue Method, The BurnDown All Stars, Mortal Men and Peripheral Rhythm. He's played bass, performed vocals and written music for each of the groups he's been part of before branching out on his own, taking his acoustic funk soul songwriting out as a solo effort. His songs and performance are dynamic and catchy, and his danceable funk-pop grooves and smart lyrics are infectious and interesting.
He has just begun his first touring effort in the Greater Philadelphia area, performing at venues such as The North Star, The Fire, The Grape Room, The Triumph Brewery and others in support of his first solo EP, Alone At Last, which was released in April of 2010 | ![]() |
